Floyd Mayweather did an interview on SportsCenter this morning and discussed a wide range of topics including the supposed fight between him and Conor McGregor. According to Mayweather, he’s willing to let the fight go down but McGregor has to accept his terms.
Mayweather always makes it clear that he is the A-side fighter and that’s no different when it comes to a potential match against McGregor.
Mayweather says he wants $100 million and McGregor has to take $15 million and a cut of the pay-per-view money in order for the bout to happen.
Now Mayweather is very confident and likes to brag but so does McGregor. Conor often talks about money and is one of the only UFC fighters to dictate his terms when it comes to his battles. $15 million is a lot compared to what UFC fighters normally get paid, but will McGregor agree to such a small sum in comparison to Mayweather’s cut?
