Wow what a week already for Migos. After Childish Gambino (Donald Glover) shouted out their song “Bad and Boujee” at the Golden Globes, it pretty much instantly shot to the number one record in the country right now.
During TMZ Live yesterday, Migos said their phones have been blowing up since the notorious remark at the Golden Globes of “Bad and Boujee” being the best song ever:
The song also gives Migos their first number one song, as well as Lil Uzi Vert, and Metro Boomin who produced it. Their highest charting single previously was “Fight Night” in 2014 and it reached no. 69 on the Billboard Hot 100. It first went viral last week with all of the memes and than of course Donald Glover winning 2 Golden Globe awards and saying the song was the greatest ever during his acceptance speech definitely helped.
Their album Culture is dropping Jan. 27 and it looks like they have all the steam towards it.
"Bad and Boujee" is the first #1 single for both Migos and Lil Uzi Vert.
