The Florida State Seminoles won a very entertaining game over the University of Michigan last night in the Orange Bowl but things didn’t start out so well for the team. Their school mascot, Renegade the horse, who rides into the stadium before their home games as the chief marks their territory, took a scary fall as the rider was still on him.

Making matters worse was the fact that a real flame was on the other end of that stick and the rider did a hell of a job in holding it in a way that prevented himself and the horse from getting burned.

Shortly after the game, the FSU football account tweeted that both the horse and chief were fine. In the end, so was their team, winning 33-32.
