As previously reported, iconic actress Debbie Reynolds passed away at the age of 84 yesterday – just ONE day after the death of her daughter, Star Wars actress Carrie Fisher. Unsurprisingly, Debbie’s final words were dedicated to her baby girl.

According to Debbie’s son (Carrie’s brother), Todd Fisher, his mother was at his home planning Carrie’s funeral early yesterday morning, and rightfully sick to her stomach with grief. Just 15 minutes before the stroke that would ultimately take her life, Debbie turned to Todd and said:

“I miss her so much, I want to be with Carrie.”

Wow! Her family notes that Debbie had suffered several strokes this year and her health was declining, and they believe Carrie’s death was too much to bear. She died from a broken heart… SO incredibly sad.

Rest in peace to both Carrie and Debbie. Our prayers are with Todd right now!
