Last night, Cardi B. took to Instagram Live to drop a bomb on her fans – she is leaving Love & Hip-Hop!

Though she wouldn’t give specifics, Cardi explained that she has some big things in the works for 2017, and will just be too busy to keep up with her commitments to the popular reality show. She assured everyone it had nothing to do with money or with the show’s producer, Mona Scott-Young, and that we’ll actually find out what she has coming up in future episodes of the show.
Cardi recently landed a recurring role on BET’s Being Mary Jane – which premieres in January – so perhaps the dancer-turned-reality star will be adding successful actress to her resume soon as well? I’m excited for her!
