Serena Williams has talked in the past about wanting to settle down and now the tennis superstar has found love and is engaged to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian.

Serena broke the news on none other than her hubby’s very own platform, Reddit.  Williams revealed that Ohanian popped the question with a surprise trip to Rome, where they first met.

Williams announced the engagement on Reddit in the form of a poem.

I came home

A little late

Someone had a bag packed for me

And a carriage awaited

Destination: Rome

To escort me to my very own “charming”

Back to where our stars first collided

And now it was full circle

At the same table we first met by chance

This time he made it not by chance

But by choice

Down on one knee

He said 4 words

Ohanian responded to her post, writing:

And you made me the happiest man on the planet.

Also – you’re a really cute Snoo. As I was drawing this for you, I thought, “our Snoos should go out on a date sometime.”

The two have been dating since fall of 2015 but did a very good job of keeping their relationship under wraps, aside from a post or two on their Instagram accounts.
