The Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors gave us a Christmas present yesterday with the game of the season and a possible NBA Finals preview. These two teams have battled each other in the last two championships, but they gave us a reminder of why we want the trilogy. In the Cavs 109-108 win, LeBron James clocked in a double-double of 31 points, and 13 rebounds, along with four assists, and Kyrie Irving hit the game-winner to finish with 25 points, 6 rebounds, and 10 assists, but Richard Jefferson had a memorable night as well with these two big dunks.
The 36-year-old player almost retired after winning the chip with the Cavaliers last season, but he decided to come back and go for one more. It’s a good thing he did because he obviously still has some gas left in the tank.
Jefferson banged it on Kevin Durant, then received an unjust technical foul for taunting after he smiled and winked at KD.
Jefferson wasn’t done, however, he also got this poster on Klay Thompson.
