The divorce between Matt Barnes and Gloria Govan is officially final, and all it took was hundreds of thousands of dollars from Matt.

Barnes and Govan broke up in 2014 after one year and 11 months married.  They have twin boys together who were born in 2008.

Things were initially amicable between them, but then went super left when Gloria began a relationship with Matt’s former teammate, Derek Fisher.  You already know that story which resulted in Barnes allegedly beating the sh-t out of Fisher.

Now according to court docs obtained by TMZ Sports, Matt and Gloria are officially divorced and they’ve agreed on child and spousal support.  Matt initially paid $5,000 per month for each son for child support in 2016, but that number now jumps to $10K per kid per month going forward so that’s $20K/month until the boys are 18.  For Gloria, Matt paid her $20K per month in spousal support from Jan. 2016 to Dec. 2016, totaling $240,000.  That’s all he’ll have to pay, no more spousal support from 2017 on.

Gloria and Matt had to go to co-parenting counseling with the hopes they will be able to get along moving forward, whether Fisher is in the picture or not.  For now, he’s still in the picture.
