Late last year, Lupe Fiasco announced he’d be dropping 3 albums this year, but as the months in 2016 passed, it didn’t seem promising. Back in October, he said that the hold up is sample clearances, but now that appears to not even matter, because he doesn’t want to release anything at all.

Taking to Twitter, Lupe tweeted that he hears God loud and clear, and he’s “officially not releasing music anymore” and his albums are “cancelled.” Seems like there’s a lot of emotion in the tweet, though, so I wouldn’t be surprised if this changes on a better day.
