Among the several albums that dropped today, from J. Cole to Post Malone, Ab-Soul dropped his project as well titled “Do What Thou Wilt”. He took a shot at rapper Jay Electonica on the first track of the album so you can say he started it off with a bang.
The opening track is titled “RAW (Backwards)” and there were several bars directed towards Jay.
“I was like a swami of Jay Electronica until he/Figured Dizzle wouldn’t admit that he would body him for a milli/I told Kenny keep quiet, I’ma get him,” he raps. “We don’t need dirt on your hands getting the key to the city ya feel me/Hurts when your OG, who is supposed to be a G-O-D/Is standing next to King Kunta feeling like Toby/Moos what I gotta do boy?/I’m just waiting on your cue to take him to school boy!”
Sound Familiar? That’s because he said those same things during his STEEZ Day Festival performance over the summer.
Ab began these shots because of the choice words Jay Electronica had to say about fellow TDE rapper Kendrick Lamar.
“Kendrick is my son, Kendrick is my baby, Kendrick wishes he could be me.”

He has then since apologized in a tweet that has been deleted. So that spawns the question was the apology even sincere or was he just pressed by his label (ROC Nation) to issue an apology?
