Bobby Shmurda was sentenced to seven years last month on the gang conspiracy and weapons case from 2014, but the rapper was facing an additional charge. While incarcerated, his then-girlfriend Kimberly Rousseau reportedly passed him a “sharpened metal object,” which he later lied to a Grand Jury about.
In a hearing yesterday, the Bronx assistant district attorney offered Bobby a deal of 1.3 to four years in state prison, in exchange for pleading guilty to an “E” felony. This would likely run concurrently with his current sentence, so he wouldn’t have to do extra time.

However, Bobby isn’t sure how he feels. In court, Bossip reports he asked his new lawyer, Paul London, to try to talk with the DA about it, because he didn’t want to be a two-time felon.
If this case goes to trial and he’s convicted, Bobby could get seven years in prison on the perjury charge alone. He is due back in court next month.
