It’s pretty clear by now that J. Cole took aim at Kanye West on “False Prophets.” I wouldn’t call it a “diss track” really, but it certainly wasn’t a nice one. While Ye isn’t around to defend his name, it appeared that famed producer Mike Dean, who’s tight with Ye, wanted to do so for him:

“why do artists who are lacking always make a diss song just before their LP comes out??”
