A few months ago, Michael Jordan said he preferred Blake Griffin to be the star if there was a Space Jam sequel ever made. Well, now he got his wish, sort’ve.

In Nike’s latest Jordan Brand commercial, Blake Griffin and Jimmy Butler fight to save basketball from the game’s scariest superteam, the Monstars.
The ad takes some shots at the Golden State Warriors, as the Monstars are called a superteam who can’t be beaten. Also, a narrator says, “Forget the Death Lineup, this is the Apocalypse Lineup.”
The Space Jam villains take ownership of whichever courts they want, locking out other ballers who eventually seek the help of Bugs Bunny. The infamous cartoon character gives the ballers all the gear they’ll need and another major tool that’ll help, Blake Griffin.
Though Jordan fulfilled his wish of using Griffin in the Space Jam themed ad, the actual Space Jam 2 movie is reportedly starring LeBron James.
