Saturday night Weezy was supposed to take over the island of Curacao with a lot of artists including Meek Mill, Rick Ross, French Montana, Fat Joe, and more. Wayne’s people are saying it’s because of breach of contract…others are claiming it’s because he had another seizure. Let’s pray it’s the former.
The concert venue’s statement reads:
“Contrary to recent reports, Color Events met all contractual obligations for Lil Wayne to perform at the SummerFall concert tonight. We are still investigating the reason for the last-minute cancellation and have nothing further to comment on except that although we are disappointed Lil Wayne will not be performing, we excited about the lineup of artists who will be performing tonight.”
The SummerFall concert also included August Alsina, Yo Gotti, and Jeremih to perform with Wayne as the big headliner. In 2013, Wayne revealed that he suffers from epilepsy and had three more this past summer…others think it’s just because of all the drugs he does. Who knows at this point, but either way let’s hope everything is alright on Weezy’s end.
