A few weeks ago, singer Sevyn Streeter was scheduled to perform the National Anthem at their season opener a month ago, but due to her political t-shirt, she wasn’t allowed to sing.
There’s been a little fallout in between. She took to social media which blew up about it and the 76ers ended up issuing an official apology. Looks like Sevyn has forgiven them, because she’s set to sing again WITH her WE MATTER jersey on. Not only did the 76ers ask her back though, but they also partnered up with her on a few charity events. NICE.
