The Presidential Medal of Freedom is a very special and honorable award presented by a sitting president to a citizen who does not have a military background. President Obam has elected to present this award to several individuals including “The Voice of Baseball,” Vin Scully, Kareem Abdul Jabar, and Michael Jordan.

“There is a reason you call someone the Michael Jordan of something…Michael Jordan is the Michael Jordan of greatness.”

“…when a sport changes its rules to make it harder just for you [Kareem], you are really good.”
