Chance the Rapper has now said a special prayer to his brother Kanye West during his performance. Kanye was recently hospitalized and everyone is now sending their blessings his way.
Chance said,
“I want to extend a special prayer to my big brother Kanye West. I know there’s a lot of weird folks out there but you already know that I’m a hundred grand. I want to just extend this prayer and this love from all the way in Britain. We might come home early to see this. Happy Thanksgiving.”
Kanye and Chance have a huge impact on each other inside and outside of the studio. Chance played a part in The Life of Pablo’s “Ultralight Beam” and Kanye gave his vocals on Chance’s “All We Got.” He has even called Kanye “the greatest artist of our generation.” Ye’ reciprocated the love saying Chance is one of his favorite people and that he had “god level bars.” It’s been a really tough week for Ye. We should all just pray for his mental recovery and hope whatever he is going though does not outshine him as an artist.
