Conor McGregor is constantly talking about that he deserves a piece of ownership stake in UFC. He even recently said after beating Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205 that he isn’t fighting again until Dana White gives him some ownership in the company since he thinks UFC is nothing without him. While getting some of that stake from White will likely never happen, Mark Wahlberg, who happens to own a small percentage himself, said he is willing to give McGregor a piece of his but only if he’s ready to cut the check.

McGregor is riding high right now but it wasn’t that long ago when he got beat and humbled by Nate Diaz. Whether he cares or not, UFC will always be fine whether he’s fighting or not which is why White would likely never grant ownership to any fighter. He definitely is the current face of the brand however, which is something that’s not lost on Wahlberg.
Wahlberg was part of a group of celebs who bought small ownership stake’s in UFC earlier this year but notice he isn’t giving McGregor anything. He will have to cough up some serious money if he wants a piece.
