Whether you agree with Colin Kaepernick or not, the man is putting his money where his mouth is which is more than we can say for the majority of folks. Kap had pledged $1 million dollars in donations to help fight racial oppression and social injustice and he shared on Instagram today that he is well on his way there.

He announced that so far he has hit $200,000 of his pledge and he vows to continue to donate $100,000 each month until the goal is met. He wrote the following caption with the picture.

We have to continue to keep making steps toward real change! I promised I would donate a million dollars to organizations working in oppressed communities and we’re now in the second month of the Million Dollar Pledge! 100k a Month for 10 Months.
