The state has just lost it’s biding war in trying to hold ‘Making A Murderer’ star, Brendan Dassey. We reported that Dassey was set to be released from jail under a few conditions but there was still a biding war going on as the state was still trying to keep him locked up.
The state of Wisconsin recently filed a motion to keep Dassey in prison while the appeal of his release order is pending. The judge denied the motion due to the fact that prosecutors were merely rehashing same points the court already rejected. He is being released due to the fact that when he was 16-years-old, police got him to confess to the murder of Teresa Halbach without an adult being present. The state is currently still pursuing an appeal to a higher court on the decision to release Dassey. As of now, he is set to be free sometime this week, no later than Friday at 8pm.
As reported recently, he is not allowed to leave the eastern part of Wisconsin, can’t obtain a passport, and can’t possess weapons or controlled substances. He has also been ordered to have zero contact with his uncle Stephen Avery or the family of the victim, Teresa Halbach.
