During the third quarter of the Pacers 111-94 win over the Bulls, Jimmy Butler drove to the basket and Paul George was called for a foul. George was a little frustrated, and as the ball rolled along the baseline, he kicked it. The ball flew into the stands and hit a fan.

George instantly walked over apologized and hugged the fan. The fan, Lindsey Teager, a Pacers television employee was not injured and was surprised George was ejected.
“I didn’t know that rule, she said. “So I was like ‘Wait, why?’ ”
Following the game, George explained what happened.
“I meant to kick the ball against the mat,” he said after the game. “My soccer skills isn’t as good as I thought. I apologized to the beautiful girl I hit.”
