Azealia Banks is constantly in controversy, and one of her latest ones (aside from the Russell Crowe x RZA incident) is skin bleaching.

The rapper has been openly bleaching her skin for some months now, and she has naturally been getting tons of flack for it. It doesn’t help that she used to make fun of people for the very same thing before! Well, she’s fed up with it, and took to Facebook to give people a piece of her mind.

“Skin bleachers are people too!!!” Banks wrote on Facebook over the weekend. “We have feelings and emotions and it’s not fair to act as if we are aliens or accuse us of self-hate or try to ostracize us from the black community when the world already does a good enough job of ostracizing the black populous from humanity as a whole.”
