We all know President Obama follows sports more so than any other commander in chief in recent memory and despite him getting ready to exit the oval office soon, he is still keeping tabs on the NBA and NFL. He called in to “Sway In The Morning” today and Sway wasted no time talking sports and of course getting a feel for who Obama’s favorite rappers are at the moment.

The POTUS started off the show with jokes when Sway asked him to say he was a citizen of Sway In The Morning. Laughing, Obama said “I’ll certainly say my name and say I am a citizen of the United States cause otherwise who knows what Trump will say if he hears I’m not a citizen of the U.S. but I’m a citizen of Sway In The Morning. That could be a whole new scandal”.

Then Sway got into the sports questions regarding who will win the NBA championship this season. “I’m gonna go with the Warriors just because of Durant”, Obama said. “That addition gives them too much firepower, although they just got spanked on their first game so it will take them a while to figure stuff out.”

Heather B then interjected and piggy backed off of Sway’s question and asked him about who will win the Super Bowl.

“Super Bowl is tougher but I gotta say at this point you have to put your money on Brady again. I don’t see any real strong teams. Seattle and Patriots have a rematch, that’s my call.”

At the point the conversation turned to hip hop where Sway asked him about his top emcees at this point. Obama mentions Chance the rapper, Kanye, Drake, Kendrick Lamar but clearly says “Jay Z is still the king”.
