Last year, a law was passed to make it illegal to post a photo from inside a voting booth in Tennessee. For that, the D.A. is now “reviewing” Justin Timberlake, who yesterday posted the above photo while participating in early voting in his hometown.

People found guilty of this “crime” can be sentenced to up to 30 days in jail, along with receiving a $50 fine. However, an official from the election’s board where Justin voted released a statement to TMZ, saying that the famed singer should be commended, not prosecuted, for inspiring people to get out and vote.
I completely agree. Also, what is the point of this law? Who does it protect and/or save?
