I mean you admitted to killing someone and trying to kill another…than when they tell you your punishment you try to back out of it. What else would you expect?
Jaleel Smith-Riley tried to withdraw his guilty plea for murder, but the judge denied his request and sentenced him to life in prison without parole for killing a woman and injuring her boyfriend with a bullet to the head. During the hearing on Wednesday October 19th, the judge denied Smith-Riley’s motion to change his guilty plea. Judge Charles Kubicki then began the sentencing hearing and Smith dropped to the floor as he was given his sentence. Prayers for everyone involved in this unfortunate incident:
