Recently two women spoke out against Donald Trump accusing him of sexual assault. Since the story has been out, Trump’s wife, Melania Trump has been telling the public not to believe the story. Melania made an appearance on “Fox and Friends” where she said the women should prosecute their claims in a court of law and not on CNN 3 weeks before the election. She says she was hurt when she heard the rumors of her being an escort. She also felt as though her husband was forced by Billy Bush to make the comments he made about women. Jessica Leeds, one of the women who came forward is now responding to Melania comparing her to Hillary Clinton.
Leeds says Melania is no better that Hillary with the way she is covering up her husbands wrong doing. She says she actually feels bad for Melania.
She says,
“The wives are in a difficult position if they want to save their marriage. They’ll make compromises and accept the good with the bad.I feel it’s terrible Melania is being viewed as sympathetic when Donald is beating up on Hillary for doing the same with Bill.”
As for the comment Melania made about Leeds doing this just a few weeks before election, Leeds stated she was prompted to contact The New York Times after Trump denied ever actually doing the things that were mentioned in the audio with he and Billy Bush.
