This passed weekend was the REVOLT Music Conference, which brought industry leaders and a host of hip-hop elites to Miami together for a three-day series of panels, performances, and networking events. Last night was the annual Gala dinner and Diddy awarded Nas with the Jimmy Iovine Icon Award, calling Nasir Jones a “true example of Black excellence.”
Nas, the most legendary artist to never win a Grammy, was truly grateful for the award and went on to take photos and share them in the gallery above. He wrote to his “brother” Diddy on Instagram:
“We’re two crazy mfa’s who somehow figured it all out ourselves. But you are a leader that we ALL learned from!”
