As we reported last week, Nicki Minaj is Marie Claire’s latest cover star, and now that her interview is out – there’s some interesting points to discuss!

At one point in the interview, Young Nick takes issue with Kanye West – someone she’s collaborated with a lot in the past – and it’s all over a song from over a decade ago!

“I’m so tired of black women feeling that when our men get rich, they’re going to leave them for a woman of a different race,” Nicki said. “It wasn’t funny when Kanye said [it on ‘Gold Digger’]: ‘When he get on, he’ll leave your a** for a white girl’…and Kanye happens to be with a white girl now. It wasn’t funny when he said it; it was the f*cking truth.”
