A lawsuit has now been filed against Atlantis Gentleman Club over an incident involving one of their strippers at their strip club in Philadelphia. On the night of the alleged victim claims that a stripper working in the vicinity at the time continually asked for a private dance. He was not feeling her vibe and in turn denied her, repeatedly. Still however the woman now wanted a tip. Being as how they already denied a private lap dance the alleged victim and his friend saw no need to tip so denied that request as well.
Big mistake. This was a mistake that would change his life. It was then that the man claims the stripper became “irate”. He alleges she then in a rage grabbed a piece of glass, broke the glass, and stabbed the man in the neck. At that point the man states that he grabbed his neck, fell to the floor and bled profusely. The man was rushed to the hospital and had to go emergency surgery to seal the three inch deep laceration wound.
If the mans claims in the 11 page lawsuit are all true he certainly has a case and is going to get paid. In the suit he alleges that the club knew of the woman’s spicy temper. He claims that after the incident, a stripper who also works at the club confided in him. The worker stated that everyone at the club knew of the Strippers temper. He claims the woman also stated that the stripper which had attacked him was actually fired for violent behavior but for some reason rehired again. It doesn’t end there.
“The same employee said he did not understand why [the dancer] was rehired by Atlantis” because she had “a reputation in the community for being assaultive”. The suit also claims the strip club owner also knew of the woman’s past criminal record in which she was “sentenced for assault in Pensylvania.” But wait, there’s more. The club allegedly knew the woman “regularly became intoxicated on the job” and that on that day the woman was intoxicated. The man is seeking punitive damages against the club.
