Tom Brady by all appearances is a friend and supporter of Donald Trump. The New England Patriots quarterback has hung out with Trump and had a “Make America Great Again” hat in his locker. Brady, however, went silent when asked about the crude comments the republican presidential candidate made in a leaked tape.
Back in 2005, Trump was talking with Billy Bush while on his way to shoot a “Days of Our Lives” segment. The conversation they were having leaked, and predatory comments made by Trump were revealed.
“When you’re a star they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab them by the pussy,” said Trump when speaking out women.
Trump dismissed the comments as “locker room talk,” but many athletes have been asked about it and they disagree, saying they don’t talk like that in their locker rooms.
Brady played his first game of the season this past Sunday after being suspended for four games due to deflategate. During a press conference on Wednesday, he was asked, “Tom you have kids of your own, how would you respond if your kids heard Donald Trump’s version of locker room talk?”
Brady abruptly ended the presser and walked out.
Back in December 2015, Brady said Trump is a good friend and he supports his friends.
“Donald is a good friend of mine. I have known him for a long time. I support all my friends. That is what I have to say. He’s a good friend of mine,” said Brady. “He’s always been so supportive of me for the last 15 years, since I judged a beauty pageant for him, which was one of the very first things that I did that thought was really cool. That came along with winning the Super Bowl. He’s always invited me to play golf. I’ve always enjoyed his company.”
A special thanks to the guy who asked Tom Brady about Donald Trump locker room talk and the end of his press conference #WBZ #Patriots pic.twitter.com/sCx59IArsw
