Josh Norman avoided any real confrontations with Odell Beckham Jr last Sunday when the Redskins played the Giants but he still found a way to be fined a significant amount of money. Norman was fined more than $48,000 for his helmet to helmet hit on receiver Sterling Shepard. Norman was flagged for unnecessary roughness on the play even though Sherpard took the hit like it was nothing.

The exact amount Norman was fined was $48,620 for this hit on Shepard during the second half of the game last week.
Norman was more than likely fined such a high amount because of his history against the Giants and the fact that referees warned both himself and Beckham about any extra nonsense before the game. Even though the play had nothing to do with Beckham, it was still something Norman was warned about.
