UFC has a bunch of new investors and a majority of them are athletes and celebrities with huge star power behind them. We found all of this out courtesy of Conan O’Brien, who announced on his show “Conan” last night that he is one of the people who were given the opportunity to invest and then he listed a bunch of people who were in it with him.

People were approached after UFC was sold for $4 billion to promotional company WME-IMG.
“After the UFC deal was announced, WME – William Morris Endeavor – gave some of their clients an opportunity to purchase a small ownership stake in the UFC. I’m excited to announce that I was one of those clients,” O’Brien announced.
“I said yes and so now I technically own a piece of the UFC. I am now part of a group of investors that includes Ben Affleck, Tom Brady, Mark Wahlberg, Adam Levine, Cam Newton, LL Cool J, Maria Sharapova, Serena Williams, Sylvester Stallone, just to name a very few.”
As you see, besides Tom & Cam, Serena Williams, Mark Wahlberg, LL Cool J and many more got involved as UFC wants to go even more mainstream and fuse it with pop culture.
UFC was originally bought for $2 million dollars back in 2001, which is literally pennies compared to the $4 billion that it sold for. Feels like a safe investment for those involved.
