This morning, Russell Simmons stopped by Hot 97’s Ebro In The Morning to record an interview that will be aired tomorrow. Following the sit-down, he posted a photo with the morning cast to Instagram, and in the caption, revealed that he explains in the interview how he squashed the beef between Meek Mill and The Game.

I actually was in the room for the interview, and Russell basically explained that he’d hopped on the phone with both guys (separately,) and told them they need to take a different route and set a better example for the youth. He says they both agreed with him, and promised to stop fueling the issues. According to Game’s manager Wack, that’s not true.

In an Instagram post of his own, he denied Russell’s claims, and said the beef will still continue. He also accused Russell of not signing an urban artist in some time. (Which he’s completely wrong about, because Russell has given tons of black actors opportunities through his All Def Digital platform.)
