With so much drama behind Colin Kaepernick’s taking a knee gesture to bring awareness to inequality to black Americans, it’s nice to see this story of a young man taking a knee to honor his friend.
Texas quarterback Max Akin who plays for Keller Fossil Ridge recently took a knee to present the homecoming king crown that had just been awarded to him to his friend and team manager, KL Norwood. KL has cerebral palsy and according to Akin, deserved the crown. Take a look. THIS is what we need to see more of. Love, humility, and compassion.
