A NYC man was upset at the fact that a boot was put on his car. Around 5pm at West 32nd Street and Seventh Avenue near Madison Square Garden, the 32-year-old career criminal Akram Joudeh had a fit upon realizing his Nissan had a boot on it. Witnesses say the man screamed and yelled at the top of his lungs until he was approached by an officer.
Once the officer approached the car, he started swinging a meat cleaver! He then attempted to run. Officers chased him all the way to 32nd street. The officers began to open fire and hitting the man multiple times. One of the officers was grazed in his back. A third officer was also injured. Apart from that, too other officers were taken to Bellevue Hospital. As for the suspect, people described him as an “emotionally disturbed person,”
Franchesca Benitez, manager at clothing store Mandees says,
“We heard the gun shots and saw all these cops running and then we all ducked down and went into lockdown mode.I heard at least four shots very quickly one after another. I saw a cop running with a taser and cars speeding.”
