Lil Wayne’s tweet from last week suddenly makes a lot more sense. On September 2, the Young Money rapper took to his account and wrote:

“Luv to the miami PD for always being alert, attentive, & appropriate. Thk u.”

Off the bat, I automatically assumed someone had messed with him at his home in MIA, and it turns out I was right! TMZ reveals that Weezy was the victim of ANOTHER swatting incident – which is when a prankster calls the cops, reports a major incident at a person’s address and then the cops show up ready to handle a situation that doesn’t exist.

According to the report, cops showed up at Wayne’s home in the afternoon, after receiving a call that an unknown male was shot and bleeding there. Tune was asleep at the time, so cops entered through an unlocked garage door. Upon waking up to Miami PD, the rapper was “initially cooperative,” giving permission to search his home with a K9 Unit, but quickly got tired of them and moments later, yelled, “I’m tired of this sh*t – take me to jail!”

He actually ended up cuffed for that moment, but of course there was nothing for cops to find, so they let him go a short while later. Wayne reportedly calmed down later and told the cops that he understood they were doing their job.

That has to be beyond annoying! There were reports last year that he’d be selling his house after the last swatting incident, but I guess he hasn’t made a move on that yet. Perhaps he should consider it!
