Hall of Fame linebacker and New York Giants great, Lawrence Taylor, was arrested on suspicion of DUI after causing a crash on the Florida turnpike. Making matters even worse for LT is the fact that one of the cars he hit was a Florida State Trooper’s patrol car.

WPTV reports that Taylor, 57, was driving south on the turnpike from Beeline Highway at about 5:20 p.m. when he became involved in a crash. The TV station says Taylor switched lanes and hit a motor home and sideswiped a patrol vehicle.

He was arrested and taken to the Palm Beach County jail. It doesn’t appear that anyone involved sustained any injuries but Spokesman Sgt. Mark Wysocky did say more details would be released today.
