Though many people accused Colin Kaepernick of disrespecting the veterans with his refusal to stand for the flag, there are many veterans who are supporting him and started their own hashtag on Twitter.
Veterans started the hashtag #VeteransForKaepernick, showing that he did not offend them and they stand with him in his message about the oppression and inequality minorities are facing in the United States.
