Ezekiel Elliot was in Seattle yesterday for a preseason game against the Seahawks. Prior to the game he decided to do some tourist related activities and eventually wound up at a marijuana dispensary called “Herban Legends”. He checked out some of the goods but numerous sources confirm he never bought or even attempted to buy any weed. Regardless of that, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was not happy with his rookie running back at all.

Elliott didn’t appear to be trying to hide the fact he was there, even posing for some pictures outside the place. It’s pretty clear he wasn’t doing anything sinister but Jones was still upset.
“Well, I think that in and of itself the reason we are talking about is in a way part of the learning process,” Jones said after the Cowboys’ loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday. “But it’s not good. It’s just not good. It’s just not good.”
Marijuana remains a banned substance in the NFL, although its recreational use is legal in the state of Washington.
When the game actually kicked off, Elliott showed why the Cowboys drafted him so high, racking up 48 yard rushing on only 7 carries. If he keeps that production up, Jones won’t care so much about little things like this.
