Odell Beckham Jr. and LeBron James have gone past a friendship and formed a big brother/little brother type of relationship. It began after James saluted OBJ for his welcome-to-stardom catch. Among the thousands of messages Beckham received, he said LeBron’s meant the most because the king is his all-time favorite athlete. The two dined together soon after and continued to hang out, including a workout session where OBJ says LeBron showed him what it takes to go all the way.
“It was just good to be able to work out with him,” Beckham said earlier this summer. “Obviously, you see what it takes and what he is doing even after what he’s already done. I don’t want to say I gained a new level of respect for him because I already have the utmost respect for him. He’s my favorite athlete and the one that I look to the most, so it was just cool, just a cool experience for me to be able to go down and work with him.”
Beckham soaked the knowledge in and LeBron likes what he sees from his “lil bro” as he posted a video compilation of OBJ’s sick catches during Giants training camp.
