Turkey as many other countries in that region have been having one disaster after the other. The latest being a suicide bombing which occurred at a wedding over the weekend. The suicide bombing claimed the lives of more than 50! The most chilling detail about the event is that the bomber is believed to be between the ages of 12-14. In a time when the nation is still mourning over the lives lost during the failed coup attempt another tragedy has struck. A day that was supposed to end with joy, love, and happiness ended with horrors, cries, screams, and bloodshed. During a wedding ceremony an explosion was triggered by a suicide bomber believed to be age 12-14. The bombing claimed the lives of 50 so far and that toll is expected to rise. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has stated that ISIS, the Islamic terrorist group was behind the attack. A witness of the attack Sakru Akdogan stated the following to turkish state news:

“We couldn’t see anything. Nothing but body parts,”

Its chilling to believe that a child can bring so much pain. A kid who has yet to even experience life, brainwashed and brought into an unjust cause. Sadly this is the norm for the world we live in today. Child soldiers fighting grown men wars. Our hearts go out to the victims of these attacks as well as victims to other attacks around the world. In times like this it seems impossible that there will ever be world peace. Still however we can never give up hope. One love.
