Michael Jordan can now officially thank the governor of North Carolina for ruining all-star weekend for his Charlotte Hornets. The league was strongly considering moving the weekend from Charlotte next season because of a state law that limits anti-discrimination protections for lesbian, gay and transgender people. This morning they made the move official, announcing that New Orleans will host the weekend again after having it in 2014.

Some other options that were being considered were New York & Chicago but in the end the big easy won out. They put on a great show a few years ago and unlike many other southern states, Louisiana has refused to pass any bills that allow anyone to be discriminated against.
