Taylor Swift has took action against the devastation Louisiana has been suffering the past few days with a contribution of $1,000,000. Other celebrities like Lil Wayne, Lady Gaga and Ellen Degeneres also tweeted their prayers and ways to help.
The AP reports Taylor has donated so much money because:
“We began The 1989 World Tour in Louisiana, and the wonderful fans there made us feel completely at home. The fact that so many people in Louisiana have been forced out of their own homes this week is heartbreaking. I encourage those who can to help out and send your love and prayers their way during this devastating time.”
The damage has already taken 11 lives and destroyed more than 40,000 homes….wow those numbers are ironic. Prayers for Louisiana.
