Time and time again, older NBA veterans have voiced their opinion about the current state of the league being soft and being too much about shooting. They usually sound like bitter guys who want to make sure none of their own glory was overlooked but thankfully the GOAT himself, Michael Jordan, is not one of those vets.

Former great players such as Oscar Robertson and many others have even gone as far as to diminish Steph Curry’s game and say he would never have excelled back in the day. Steph is not the only player who has come under attack from former greats as even legendary coach Phil Jackson has labeled this era of mostly shooting three pointers just a phase.
All of that goes out the window when the greatest player ever actually thinks the league is better off now than we he played. He sat down with Ahmad Rashad for a show called “Inside the Boardroom”, along with Clippers owner Steve Ballmer as well as Yao Ming, who owns the Shangahi Sharks of the Chinese league, to discuss their management styles and philosophies. Eventually the topic of how the game has changed came up and there is nobody better than MJ to speak on it.

If anyone has the right to downplay the current crop of NBA stars and the way they play, it would definitely be Jordan but he has his eyes opened wide enough to see that the game has changed for the better and the evolution will continue to happen.
