Apparently LSU running back Leonard Fournette and offensive lineman Garrett Brumfield were in the street having a good ol’ slap boxing match and freaked people out.
TMZ Sports obtained a video of 6’1″, 235 lbs Fournette, fighting with 6’3″, 305 lbs Brumfield outside Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge.
The media outlet thought the two men were having a real fight but LSU Associate Athletic Director of Communications Michael Bonnette tells TMZ Sports the team has spoken to both players and have determined it was all an intense game of slap boxing.
“A game where they basically have to touch the other person twice.”
Everybody in the hood knows about slap boxing and how intense it can get but mainstream media is showing great concern, apparently thinking it was a real, serious fight.
Bonnette insists there is no real animosity between the two players.
“What you don’t see is when the video cuts off, they hug it out. They’re not mad at each other. No one was injured.”
I posted it because, well… slap boxing is still entertaining to watch.
