After day one of Drake’s Summer ’16 tour at Madison Square Garden when he brought out A$AP Ferg, Future, & Young Thug, he decided to bring out somebody more local to the New York crowd. He opted from Bronx’s own A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie.
Ever since the release of his mixtape “Artist”, A Boogie’s buzz has been going crazy. It kind of reminds you of the Bobby Shmurda and GS9 wave two years ago when it was just all organic. Social media was split right down the middle though because a lot of people were happy for A Boogie that he gets the type of exposure he warrants in his home state.
Amazing to see A Boogie get this opportunity at The Garden for #SummerSixteenTour. Let that Black Boy Fly.

On the contrary, people don’t want that because it’s no secret that Drake rides the wave of the new hot up and comers and allegedly jacks their style.
Of course he did. He rides the wave ALL THE TIME. And A Boogie is next up RT @ComplexMusic: Drake just shouted out A Boogie #SummerSixteen

Let’s hope that this spotlight on A Boogie helps him more than it hinders him.
