Saada was scheduled to fight Turkey’s Mehmet Nadir Ünal on Saturday but that won’t be happening now. Police say he attacked the women on Wednesday. No other details of the alleged incident were released.
Saada will be jailed for 15 days while they conduct a rape investigation, police said. Under Brazilian law, suspects can be held for a long period while a case is examined.
