Legendary former tennis player Billie Jean King once said Serena Williams is the best tennis player ever, but recently she was asked if Serena had a shot at beating a top men’s tennis pro and she wasn’t as generous.
Billie says Serena absolutely can not beat Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic or any other top guy in the sport.
King explained that women are more entertaining but they don’t have enough strength to beat the men. She herself was known as a master in her day, most notably for beating Bobby Riggs in a co-ed tennis match dubbed the “Battle Of The Sexes” back in 1973 but Riggs was 55-years old at the time.
Billie says it’s possible for Serena to beat some men, depending on how low in the ranks you go.
I’d definitely like to see Serena give it shot if it’s ever possible.
