Montel Williams was detained in Germany after he made a mistake and left hi medical Marijuana powder in his luggage. He was held briefly while at the Frankfurt airport.
William’s spokesperson and political director, Jonathan Franks, made a statement revealing that Williams was being held while officials “verified the validity” of him having a Multiple Sclerosis prescription. He also clarified the fact that Williams had not been arrested but just held by customs. Williams then took to speaking on the matter himself by thanking German Ambassador Peter Wittig for handling the misunderstanding in a “kind” and “professional” manner.
