After 12 years together, Mary J. Blige has filed for divorce from her husband/manager, Martin “Kendu” Isaacs. There’s no word on what caused the split, and even on the filed documents, MJB even states the date of separation as “to be determined.” This sounds like it has all the makings of a mess.

Mary is asking the judge to block Isaacs’ ability to get spousal support. The document does not say if there is a prenup. One thing’s for sure, though – we’re about to get some FIRE music from Mary!
